SAN FRANCISCO, CA — In support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October, Jasper’s Corner Tap & Kitchen in San Francisco is serving up a specialty salad and cocktail, an Americano is offering a three-course dinner, with partial proceeds donated to the cause.

One dollar from each “Pinktober Salad” and “Pinktober Cocktail” sold at Jasper’s will be given to Zero Breast Cancer, an organization devoted to reducing breast cancer risk and supporting health and wellness, management said.

Jasper’s “Together We Are UnBEETable” salad is a blend of roasted beets, arugula, orange segments, almonds, Ricotta cheese and cherry vinaigrette, priced at $15. The cocktail, dubbed “Sip Pink for the Cure,” is $12 and features yogurt liquor, Crème de Noyaux, Half & Half and Malibu Rum.

Meanwhile at Americano, the female-led chef team is offering a special $65, three-course menu to support Breast Cancer Awareness Month, with 8 percent from each sale, “a nod to its address at 8 Mission Ave., being donated to the Breast Cancer Emergency Fund, a Bay Area organization dedicated to providing emergency financial assistance to low-income women and men battling breast cancer, according to restaurant operators.
